Danville PD hosts the Annual Shop with a Cop Event | City of Danville
On Wednesday, December 14, the Danville Police Department conducted its "Shop with a Cop" event. Danville Police partnered with the Danville Independent School District and provided twenty-one children the opportunity to shop with a Danville Police Officer. Officers picked up each child at their school and took them to Wal-Mart. At the conclusion of their shopping spree, lunch from McDonalds was provided at the Danville Police Department. The Danville Police Department would like to thank Danville Schools, Danville Schools Family Resource Center, Wal-Mart, McDonalds, and everyone else who made this year’s event such a success.
