Cost of college went up for all students at Midway University

Tuition and fees rose 3.3 percent for 2018-19 at Midway University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kentucky students paid $24,750 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $800 more than the $23,950 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 137 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.3 million and 99 students took out student loans totaling more than $661,066.

Including all undergraduates (1,668), 751 students used grants or scholarships totaling $10 million, and 660 students took out $6 million in federal student loans.
