On Thursday, May 15, former Mercer County Senior High School standout Ry’Ann Tharp’s current collegiate team the Transylvania Pioneers lost 2-6 against the Emory Eagles in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Lucinda Samford Cannon Softball Field at 1:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Emory Eagles in the tournament.

The Transylvania Pioneers’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Lucinda Samford Cannon Softball Field.
