The county registered an average of $3.14 per gallon for midgrade gas.
GasBuddy reports show that midgrade gas was available at two of the 11 reported gas stations in Mercer County.
The statewide average price of midgrade gas in Kentucky was $3.38 per gallon for the week ending Mar. 7, an increase from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
