There were 268 second grade students enrolled in Anderson County schools in the 2024-25 school year, 8.5% fewer than the previous year, according to the Kentucky Department of Education.

Robert B. Turner Elementary School welcomed most of the second grade students in the county, registering 104 students.

Within Anderson County schools, enrollment was highest in 12th grade and lowest in preschool.

Statewide, Anderson County ranked 50th in total enrollment. It held the same ranking the previous year.

Kentucky schools face funding gaps as state support is 24% below 2008 levels after accounting for inflation.
